Compliance Statement

Level AA compliance CAN be achieved using the Image Slideshow component, see Restrictions for more information.

Restrictions

MUST:

• Users MUST be able to pause animations that last longer than 5 seconds. Level A.

• Older themes using fireslider.js are without a front-end pause control, the website owner needs to turn auto slide to "No" and only allow users to page forward/backward at their own page.
• NOTE: when our script generates the slideshow additional slides to allow for seamless transitions, it causes a parsing error, flagging duplicate IDs. This is not expected to cause any user issues or assistive technology barriers. WCAG 4.1.1 parsing.
   
• Newer themes using slickslider.js have a play/pause option available for users to stop animations. (ie. Harvest)
